Not fatal: as this simply describes what the thyroid tissue looked like on ultrasound. You did not state if a "mass" was seen or a cyst. This should be compared to any lab tests that were performed. If those tests are normal then don't lose any sleep about this tissue texture. Talk to your doctor about all the results
