Don't Think So: Eaten 2 weeks ago and asthma symptoms flaring up now? Do not think so. Have you been allergy tested? Do you know what you are allergic too? Do you know what your asthma triggers are? Obviously allergen and trigger avoidance key, but not always possible. Do you monitor peak flows? Do you have asthma action plan in place? I hope so. If not discuss these issues with your doctor. Doubtful; but avoid: Generally would avoid eating mold, as a rule, but I'd expect more complaints from your GI tract than your lungs. The lungs, nose and sinuses get exposed through the air (spores) in moldy environments. Fact: some actually get mold growing in sinuses or lungs - and then develop allergic reactions to it (called ABPA/AFS). But this is unusual. Focus on repair/eliminate mold in home and workplace.
