Missed tdap : Taking tdap after delivery is not going to help your baby, unless you still have some immunity from previous doses it can last up to 10 years but It is recommended every 5 years, make sure to take the baby for well & immunizations visits to the pediatrician at the recommended schedule. Be cautious: We actually didn't start giving this to older kids or adults until the last decade or so. Moms raised up a bunch of kids before that. Until baby can be vaccinated, I would avoid crowds of adults or older kids, especially if you are on the west coast where many are anti-vaccination folks reside. If you need to take baby with you shopping do it in the early morning, not on busy afternoons.
