A member asked:

Can i get tdap and flu vaccines at same time? is there any issue with doing this? or would it be better to space them? are they completely safe?

You can get these vaccines at the same time at different sites. They are safe vaccines. There can be side effects, the most common being soreness at the injection site. You can also get flu-like symptoms as your body makes antibodies. You can also experience no side effects at all. So, get your vaccines! Best of luck to you!

I agree that it's ok to get the flu shot and TDAP vaccine simultaneously, but I discourage people from doing it because if a significant side effect occurred I would have to guess which was the culprit and can't determine whether the flu shot should be taken again.
