Spironolactone: Spironolactone does not usually make periods irregular. People who use Spironolactone for PCOS typically already have irregular periods. Birth control pills can be used to regulate. Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUDs are popular with PCOS to stop the cycles and provide Progesterone balance to the uterine lining.
