If i use hydrocortisone on a circular with red bumps in an area that i think is ringworm and it gets better, is it ringworm or a type of ezcema?

Rash: Ringworm is a fungal rash which does not respond to hydrocortisone cream. If your rash is responding then it is probably not fungal

Can't tell for sure: Many people with ringworm (trichophyton) become allergic to the fungus . Thus the use of topical cortisone may improve the allergic response to the trichophyton but would not eradicate the fungus. Some people do overcome the fungus with time but many will benefit from a topical antifungal agent. if the rash keeps on coming back after stopping the cortisone cream, ringworm should be considered.
