Yes: Dental fillings, whether they are amalgam (silver) or composite (white) can definitely come out of a tooth. There are a a number of things that can cause the filling to come out. If a filling is missing from your tooth, you should see your dentist ASAP to evaluate the tooth and have the appropriate treatment performed.
