YES!: My thought is that you need to see your family doctor back. I assume you had a terrible night b/c you had terrible pain. The steroid shot & dose pack may have alleviated your symptoms but didn't get to the root of the matter. If your family doc is reluctant to investigate further, see a neurologist, orthopedist or neurosurgical spine specialist. I wish you the best.
