Radiculopathy: There are a number of different potential causes, and I would not hesitate to be seen and evaluated. There is no muscle, tendon, or ligament that runs all the way from the shoulder to the fingers, but there are nerves that do. You may have a radiculopathy, which is an irritation of the nerves in the neck. In people that play softball, the brachial plexus can also cause similar symptoms.
