I have multiple bug bites from over a week ago. reddish, 2-3 inches in diameter. not itchy, no other symptoms. i have another bite that i did not scratch and it went away. i was wondering if i made it worse by scratching. ?

Avoid scratching: In order to help your bites heal I would avoid scratching. Your nails are dirty as well and puts you at risk for skin infection. Take OTC antihistamines to help with itch symptoms if applicable and apply OTC hydrocortisone cream to areas that are affected to reduce symptoms. See primary doctor if bites look infected.
