Yes: "Nerves" can cause itching. So can liver disease - I'm assuming the neurologist checked your liver tests to rule that out.

Easily: Nerves can do anything or simulate any disease. You can easily have itching as a manifestation of anxiety and or depression. . You need to see your doctor for further help . If the neurologist told you that all were normal, then the likelihood of something wrong is small Best wishes.
