PrEP stands for...: ...pre-exposure prophylaxis against HIV: taking anti-HIV drugs to prevent infection before a possibly risky exposure , i.e. sex or needle sharing with someone with HIV or at high risk. Google it; you'll find loads of information. It's been in the news a lot recently. PrEP is being used a lot by men having sex with men, but not as often as it should for heterosexual and drug related exposures.
