Never assume: See your physician. Although you likely do have hemorrhoids causing the problem, any blood on the toilet tissue could be from something more serious.

Schedule doctor: Blood on tissue paper could be hemorrhoids, polyp, precancerous lesion, cancer. The best thing is to see your doctor. You are 43 and female. A thorough history is important as is family history. At 50 screening colonscopy. At 43 it would be ok to have screening early. Finding out it is hemorrhoids is best outcome.
