A member asked:

Why is my systolic blood pressure consistently 5-10 points higher in right arm than left?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BP: If the difference in BP between the right arm and left is > 15 mm Hg, it requires evaluation for peripheral vascular disease. A british study showed that this finding will also increase the risk of future stroke. Therefore, If the difference is consistently 15 mm Hg or greater, further evaluation is warranted
