Can i have withdrawal symptoms from stopping neurontin 600mg tid & seroquel (quetiapine) 300mg pm cold turkey together by order of dr? was taking for bipolar.

Talk to MD: Why are you told to stop these meds cold turkey? Please review with doctor for reason. Unusual in my experience to stop meds with doses you're on abruptly.Tapering is more the rule. Is another med(s) being substituted? You should clarify and discuss concerns with your doctor.

Seroquel (quetiapine): discontinuation will likely lead to some withdrawal symptoms. Neurontin (gabapentin) not so much unless you have a history of seizures

Absolutely!: There would definitely be a risk of withdrawal symptoms from stopping both of those medications abruptly. A slow taper is better - I usually take people off one medication at a time if I'm trying to get rid of both altogether.

I take seroquel (quetiapine) for bipolar disorder and I sleep great while on it. I sometimes sleep half way through the next day. When I don't take it i can't sleep I'm up all night. Why? Is my body depending on it for sleep? Should I stop taking it?
What could happen if you quit seroquel (quetiapine) cold turkey after 2 years at 100mg. What if any symptoms could happen from just stopping taking it?
