Seroquel (quetiapine) : Seroquel (quetiapine) is a mood stabilizer of the antipsychotic type. If you were prescribed it for improving your mood or for your insomnia, most likely stopping it will result in insomnia or mood instability. At higher doses, the anti-psychotic effect is more noticeable. Stopping a medication abruptly is never a good idea, because you may experience rebound of the symptoms. Consult with your doctor.
