Wicked witches &...: The wicked witch of the West should not take any type of bath but it should be safe for almost everyone else. However, those who have kidney failure should use epsom salt baths with caution (and have their magnesium levels monitored), as epsom salts are absorbed thru the skin and increase magnesium levels and those with kidney failure can have difficulty eliminating excess magnesium.
