Worth knowing UR LFT: Some strenuous physical exercise, such as marathon running, are known to affect liver function tests. In this referenced study, it has been shown that weightlifting resulted in profound increases in the liver function parameters, AST and ALT, as well as in LD, CK and myoglobin levels.
