No: If you are on oral contraceptives prior to the tubal ligation keep in mind that it is the pill that is keeping your cycle regular.PCOS is associated with irregular menses so if you stop the pill when you don't need it for birth control any longer, you will likely have irregular or no menses. Many patients end up back on OC's after tubal ligation for this reason.
