Make sure: no tendon injury , need immobilisation some times due partial tare of tendon May send you for MRI or even refer you to orthopedic surgeon ( In India there is no DPM s )

Healing Heels.: Since you are experiencing pain near your heel and not on your heel, it sounds like you have injured soft tissue, possibly the Achilles tendon. Your description does not include swelling, which is a good sign. Tendons have a reduced blood supply and thus need time to heel. This time should include minimum strenuous activity involving the tendon. You will never know the true extent without imaging
