Yes: Hydroxyurea Is proven to decrease thrombotic clotting complication in Essential Thrombocythemia, the blood cancer with a criteria and usually with platelets over 1 million. Anagrelide decreases platelets production from bone marrow.See Blood. 2011 Feb 3; 117(5): 1472–1482.
