Maybe: Can always follow up with the same doctor if symptoms persist. My suspicion is that you are developing chronic obstructive (increased airway secretions, narrowing of the airways due, ballooning of the terminal airways) disease due to smoking. Pulmonary function testing is warranted and you may also benefit from systemic steroids short term and long term inhaler medication. Need to stop smoking now
