Reactive airways?: Reactive airways, or asthma, can be triggered by lung infections and requires inhalers for treatment, which would explain why only your symptoms of bronchitis or pneumonia improved. Residual pneumonia , pleuritis or heart problems can also be the cause. Recheck needed :)

Get in!: If you are having chest tightness and difficulty breathing, you need to get in to be seen. This could be something serious like a pneumonia, bad asthma, a heart problem or something else. Please get in right away and have this evaluated.
