Seek Tx: You might start w/ your PCP for a good full exam to reassure you. But I expect you know that psychotherapy is the probable tx to help you deal w/ your fears and loss. This is not unusual as a response to a family death. If there is any family trend for nhl, it is weak and not direct - but have an exam - you'll feel more at ease. Sorry for your loss and the pain. Fell better ASAP.

Groin: Pain in the inguinal area is usually due to injury or strain. If there is no history of this, the discomfort may be due to an impiged/inflamed nerve or an ingiunal hernia. If there is redness with tenderness a skin or cyst infection could be present. If symptoms persist, see your physician for evaluation.
