Need eval: loss of vision as you describe is rather concerning. The list of possible causes is rather long. You need to see your doctor for an examination and testing. Sorry this was not more helpful. Best of luck.

Sounds like migraine: this sounds like a migraine. You could ask your physician to have you see a neurologist to help clarify the symptoms if necessary have an MRI of the brain

Although not feasible to be precise with scanty details, I too would wonder about Classical Migraine, with preceding visual scotomata. Certainly, there are multiple other causes of visual loss but if this was transient, about 15-20 involving both eyes, a neurological consultation is the place to start.
