A member asked:

Is it safe to use twizzers to remove a small metal piece or hair that is on top of the sufarce and is at the bottom of the eye? if not how could i?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Corneal foreign body: It's always best to see an ophthalmologist for removal of a foreign body from the eye. You can always flush the eye to see if that works. I don't recommend tweezers because you risk scratching your eye and creating a corneal abrasion or ulceration.
