Anemia: Anisocytosis is a large variation in the size and shape of the red blood cells (They are usually smooth, uniform and disk-shaped). Hypochromia means that the red blood cells are pale because they contain too little hemoglobin (the oxygen carrying molecule of the red blood cell). These findings are consistent with a moderately severe iron-deficiency anemia. Hopes this info helps!
