4cm supralevator abscess. blood test ok dr not willing to operate as its in a bad area. i also have a fistula in bottom. do l get 2nd opinion. scared

I agree: that this needs surgical evaluation by a colon and rectal surgeon and definitely surgical drainage. Perhaps interventional radiology can assist but still the underlying cause of the abscess and fistula needs to be identified and ultimately treated to prevent recurrence and severe complications including sepsis and even death if not treated properly. Do not delay!! see a CRS now!
