Kinda sorta: Sorry, probably not the answer you wanted. It really depends. Which muscle is spasming? What's causing it to spasm? If you don't fix cause, then it can continue. For instance, if your salts & minerals are out of balance eg low potassium or magnesium, then muscle cramp can continue until normalized. Assuming that your pain hasn't responded to OTC pain relief, go see your Family Doc for evaluation.
