Infection, generally: An enlarged lymph node is generally in response to an inflammation/infection in the vicinity. In the case of axillary node, it could be anywhere in that arm. If it becomes bigger, it would be prudent to see a doctor.

Pac Man returns: Lymph nodes are destruction centers that take care of bacteria that have been captured(eaten) by white blood cells. The right armpit (axillary) area drains the right arm, neck and part of the right side of the head. The most common reason in females for a swollen lymph node is the inadvertent "nicking" of the skin while shaving the armpit area causing a localized infection.
