Don't drink: Nucynta (tapentadol) is an opiate pain medication with high abuse potential. You also take Meloxicam, which contains various analgesics and hydrocortisone. These are central nervous system depressants, all potentially addicting and additive in their effect. Too dangerous to add alcohol. Please review your medications with prescribing doctor to make sure you don't have a creeping drug dependency.

Nucynta (tapentadol) & Alcohol: Hello. Not recommended to mix alcohol and opioids (narcotics). If you must have a drink or two, you need to stagger your dose of nucynta (tapentadol) a good amount of time away from when you drink your 1-2 alcoholic beverages. Don't want to deal with synergistic side effects of the two taken together.
