Watch that step.: Right now , the best thing to do is get your foot RICED. Rest it. Ice it. Compress it lightly. Elevate it. Get to a Dr. and get it evaluated if it does not improve by tomorrow. Probably just soft tissue damage, but without an x-ray it is difficult to tell.
