No it's fine: it lmay be hard to answer specific questions without seeing you for an initial session ( getting history, symptoms). However, if a mental health professional refuses to answer general questions ( who much experience he/she has in treating a disorder) what approach he uses etc.. This may be a sign you should find someone else.
