Taper less risky: For both Clonazepam and paroxetine, tapering the dose over a 2 week period (sometimes 3) is less risky than stopping abruptly.....Especially the clonazepam. I always taper that one down. Paroxetine is more just to be safe.

Best to taper off : Always best to taper off meds with help from prescriber. However, since you stopped Clonazepam .5 and are feeling better then nothing more should happen. In general, it is sways. Best to taper meds under physician guidance. Otherwise, you open yourself to untoward events. Good luck.
