A Pain in the Bu??: A searing pain is a typical description, but a dull ache is definitely not out of the question. Remember that this nerve is the longest in the body, running from your back to your foot. Symptoms can vary from person to person and yours are typical. OK having said all that, now I must conclude with, are you ready for it? What a pain in the butt sciatica can be.
