Junior has recurring (1-2/week) nosebleeds. they are worse in summer and really disrupt life. should we consider cauterizing by ent? pros/cons?

Recurring Nose Bleed: He definitely should be seen by an ENT doctor to examine the nose. If there is a small blood vessel towards the front of the nose, cauterization should take care of it. The first step is diagnosing the source of the bleeding.

Yes: If it comes that frequently, it needs to be addressed. Independently of the local approach, what is more important is to find out whether he is also suffering of an underlying disease responsible of these episodes of bleeding like a blood condition , a bleeding disorder.
