Nose bleeds : Simple solution: add a humidifier to his room, use AYR nasal gel on a Q tip in his nose every night, give him allergy meds such as Zyrtec. Complex solution: get a blood test to check for anemia, infection or bleeding abnormalities. See a pediatrician and explain the symptoms and get a good exam. Maybe an X-ray too. Foreign objects can be the culprit which your 9 year old may have put in.
