Hormones: Often times when you come off of a hormone mediated birth control like the Nexplanon, your body needs a few months to self regulate it's own hormones back to the levels it takes to have normal periods and ovulations again, so to expect to have ovulated perfectly right after being taken off the Nexplanon may be asking a bit much of your body. Some people do, but most don't. Give it time.
