Yes .....: While endometrial ablation is quite effective to treat heavy menstrual bleeding, it is not 100%. Your story is not uncommon...about half of women experience no further bleeding after the procedure, but many will bleed again, usually less, anywhere from several weeks to several years later. You are young to have had this as it can negatively affect fertility. You need to see you GYN. Good luck:)
