Absolutely: Not only do changes in weather affect pollen/allergen counts in the air, but changes in humidity and atmospheric pressure affect nasal and lower airway inflammation in other ways as well. Any person with asthma, and especially allergic asthma, needs to pay attention to other types of triggers to better predict (and plan for) potential exacerbations.

Absolutely: Changes in weather can alter pollen, mold and other things that may trigger asthma attacks. Cold weather as well can trigger asthma as can hot humid weather when pollution may be high. You may want to check some online pollen count websites for your area to see certain levels. Good Luck
