What does hyperpluralism have to do with healthcare for the elderly?

Hyperpluralism: Check out http://study.com/academy/lesson/hyperpluralism-definition-theory-examples.html. In the bigger scheme of things, many different groups can't decide upon how best to treat elderly (or any other group). On a more personal level, some medications prescribed by heart doctor are counter to those prescribed by lung specialist such that we can't agree as to what's in patient's best interest.
