Head bump: Courtney why are you worried? Head trauma is a cause for concern in the setting of severe pain, swelling, loss of consciousness and altered mentation. Mild swelling is best treated with an ice pack :)

Should be ok: As long as you are not having any headache symptoms, changes in vision, dizziness, lightheadedness, nausea or vomiting, memory or cognitive problems (problems thinking) then you should be okay. If you develop any of these symptoms, you need to see a doctor. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck. Might want to put some ice on the area if there is swelling. Dr. R
