Ca 125 no value: Most markers in the serum are Ca or carbohydrate antigens which have no diagnostic value. The can be absent from cancer or dx inflammation such as cirrhosis. A pure cystic lesion of ovary can be watch for possible changes. When there is trabeculation or any solid component the only diagnosis is when the ovary is removed, probably laparoscopally , the path dx made and treatment if necessary.
