Bl work in new born: Normal full term babies get only blood type & blood glucose, some babies need other tests for spicific problems, all babies get neonatal screening for so many metabolic, gentic, hemolytic anemia, this is done on a filter paper from a heal stick before discharge from the hospital & result goes to the babies pediatrician.
