Therapy helps: You are having a tough time, but it's premature to give up on your doctor's med change. See your doctor to check-in and review your options. Prozac (fluoxetine) can take several weeks to reach therapeutic levels. Your doctor may want to change the dose. Meantime seeing a therapist for help with any stresses in your life may also help you feel better.

Sounds like you: Should review this with your prescribing physician, as he/she may need to increase your Prozac (fluoxetine) dose or consider treating you as a "treatment resistant depression". This may require "combination" therapy to allow for improved control. Additionally, you may require the help of a psychiatrist to help guide therapy, if not already the case.
