No need to take two: You may take both, but it is not warranted. Take either one at the usual dose of about 325 to 500 mg. Do not exceed 2 gm of Tylenol (acetaminophen) in a day.

Alternate: Paracetamol can cause liver damage, aspirin can cause kidney damage. I would not advise to take them together, but alternating them (depending on the dosage every 4-6 hours) is ok for short duration. Be sure to eat something when taking aspirin because it can cause stomach ulcers.
