Been told i have osteoarthritis and planter faiitas but my foot has been swollen badly since february now turn purple when i stand can't wear shoe ?

Need imaging : if ur foot is purple because of swelling, especially since it's been going on for sometime, u definitely need MRI of foot. Would also consider UltraSound of arteries and veins in the foot and legs.

Warm or cool.: If your foot is warm to touch, along with the conditions of osteoarthritis and painful heel or plantar fasciitis, gout must be considered. With raging gout many people cannot wear shoes and have severe pain when they stand. The discoloration can vary from cherry red to red purple.
