Must keep in contact with Dr and if still pain fever or drainage may ned to refill and give longer. NO: YOu will definitely need more than 7 days. Call the doctor back and ask why you were only given 7 days of antibiotics. Usually two to three weeks of antbiotics.

Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) helps: As long as you are not allergic to its components, Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is an excellent choice for sinusitis in most cases. There is a risk of diarrhea side effect so I usually recommend probiotics or yogurt while taking it.
