A member asked:

Whats more effective in treating a bacterial sinus infection - cipro (ciprofloxacin) or augmentin? i also have bad odour through the nose

Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): Augmentin is usually recommended first line. More resistance to cipro (ciprofloxacin). The bad odor is probably from the purulent sinus drainage.
