Boils: colonization of the armpits with bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus can cause recurrent infections, specially if the armpits are shaved repeatedly, sometimes the staphylococcus can be resistant to methicillin( MRSA), making it harder to treat, decolonization of the armpits with chlorhexidine wash/soap and/or mupirocin may be necessary
